TOPdesk supports Single Sign On (SSO), an authentication method that allows users to authenticate themselves against an external Identity Provider (IdP) rather than obtaining and using a separate username and password handled by TOPdesk, i.e. when using TOPdesk authentication. Under the SSO setup, TOPdesk will work as a Service Provider (SP) through SAML allowing you to provide Single Sign On (SSO) services for your end-users. If you wish to setup SAML as an authentication method yourself, the following documentation is available. We recommend however to do this with a TOPdesk Consultant if SAML expertise is not available at your organization. Please contact our sales department or your account manager for more information.
