Environment TOPdesk version SaaS / on-premises Requirements - Answer You can retrieve a general link that can be used for all cards of the same type (for example: calls) by using the hidden pi (π) symbol. This symbol is included in every TOPdesk overview. To find the pi symbol in an overview ⒈Log in to TOPdesk as an operator. ⒉Open an overview, for example the total overview of incidents (Modules > Call Management > Overview 'All'). ⒊Select one call (by clicking on its checkbox, or only highlighting it). It will be displayed in a blue bar. ◦Note: If you do not select a card first, you will get 'javascript:void(0)' as URL. See KI 5452. ⒋Move the cursor to the lower right corner, in the bar saying '1 of X selected'. ⒌When the cursor is in the right location, a pi symbol will appear. ⒍Right-click on this pi symbol and copy the link location. This copies a URL that is built as follows, where your_topdesk_url refers to the url of your environment: https://your_topdesk_url/tas/secure/incident?unid=the_unique_unid_of_the_incident. To open the link in the TOPdesk interface, including the menu and quick launch bar, '/contained' can be added to the url: https://your_topdesk_url/tas/secure/contained/incident?unid=the_unique_unid_of_the_incident. Note If you want to use the unique ID from the link address copied with the pi symbol for other purposes (e.g. for action sequences/API), it is necessary to adapt the format of the UNID and insert several "-". •UNID from Link:   89750b6676554f1ba1c9eb0802338fd3 •Required format: XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX  (8-4-4-4-12) •New UNID:            89750b66-7655-4f1b-a1c9-eb0802338fd3 Further information •If your url does not look like the url's above, please consult KI 5452 for possible causes. •For email actions, it is possible to automatically generate the relevant links (for operator section and the SSP). For this, you could consult our landing page in KI 5511. •Using an action sequence, it is possible to automatically generate links, which operators can copy-paste to send to colleagues. For incidents, a template can be found in KI 11369 - Create URL link for an incident card
