The disadvantage of this is that receiving e-mail applications are often configured to not allow this. Link to an attached image You can set up your email to always include an image as attachment. TOPdesk SaaS, TOPdesk 5.7 and higher ⒈Open 'Modules > Action Management'. ⒉Open the 'File Storage Manager' and upload the image. We recommend a file name no longer than 8 characters, and no special characters or spaces. ⒊Open the email action and click on the 'Attachments' tab. ⒋Click on 'Link attachments' and select the image that was uploaded through the File Storage Manager. ⒌Set the image to 'Mandatory'. ⒍In the body of the e-mail you can now use the following html-code to insert the image: When previewing the HTML email in TOPdesk, the image will not show immediately. The file is attached when sending the email, which is after the preview is generated. The receiver of the e-mail will see the image within the email. TOPdesk 5.6.SP1 and lower You can embed an image into an e-mail - for which the TOPdesk service account needs permission to access the file - and show it using html through the following steps: ⒈Open the HTML email action in TOPdesk Settings Management. ⒉On tab 'Attachments' in the e-mail action, click 'New'. ⒊Specify the location of the image you want to attach, for instance: 'D:\Program Files\TOPdesk\emailfiles\filename.jpg'.  ⒋Specify that this image is mandatory. ⒌In the body of the email, use the following HTML code to insert the image: . This ensures that the image is always attached to the e-mail, and that the image is also inserted into the body of the email. When previewing the HTML in TOPdesk, the image will not show immediately - the file is attached when sending, which is after the preview is generated - but will arrive and display at the receiver correctly. SaaS: version 5.6.SP1 and lower Email logos can be added in a SaaS environment by uploading them. This can be done at 'Settings > SaaS > Upload/Download files > Email logos'.
