SAML: Certificate tool

Prerequisite: •Installed OpenSSL (Version 3.x - currently 3.1 - April 2023) You can find •the official OpenSSL source code via the developers website •an installable executable via their official wiki.  ⒈Unzip the 'CertificateTool.zip' attached to this knowledge item - KI 5258 - into a new folder  ⒉Start a new command prompt and ⒊check if you can run openssl from within the folder with the CertificateTool. ⒋If not, check the installation, usability of your openssl ⒜You may copy the needed files to the ./data folder.

(professionals) The certificate tool can now be used in two ways: ⒈Generate a self-signed certificatet ⒜Execute the 'CertificateTool.bat' by typing this into the command prompt and pressing 'Enter'. ⒝Follow the instructions in the command prompt. ⒉Convert a PFX file to a key and certificate file ⒜Next, drag and drop the PFX-file on CertificateTool.bat (You do not have to open it, just drag the PFX file and drop it on the batch file.) Remarks: •When asked for an environment please fill in your TOPdesk environment without "https://", for example: saasenvironment.topdesk.net. •The CRT file is the public key certificate; the PKCS8 file is the private key.
